The full amount must be spent on 1 car insurance policy from Marmalade exlcuding cars for young drivers and content insurance.
A parent/guardian may enter for a chance to win the prize for their young driver.
New and renewing customers are eligible to enter. If you purchase a policy between 15th November 2021 and the 31st December 2021, and are drawn as the winner, we will process a refund via BACS of up to £250 or the value of your policy, whichever is lower.
The prize is up to £250 towards a Marmalade Insurance policy providing the winner meets the eligibility criteria.
The eligibility criteria for eligble policies are as follows:
Pay As You Go insurance: Pay As You Go insurance provides cover for provisional and full licence holders aged 17 – 27 to share a parent’s car and pay by the mile. We’ll cover most UK postcodes and selected cars up to 20 years old, below group 32 insurance and with a £500 minimum value (excluding commercial vehicles). We’re unable to cover drivers with previous claims or convictions.
Learner Driver Insurance: Learner driver insurance provides short term cover to practise driving in a family car or friend’s car from 30 days to 6 months. We’ll cover provisional licence holders that are aged between 17 and 34 in most UK postcodes. Cover is available on the majority of family cars, provided they are less than 20 years old, below group 32 insurance and with a £30,000 maximum value (excluding commercial vehicles). We’re unable to cover drivers with previous claims or convictions.
Student Car Insurance: Student Car Insurance provides cover for full licence holders aged 18 – 27 to borrow a parent’s or friend’s car for between 1 and 6 weeks. Cover is only available for students who live away from home (at boarding school or in higher education. We’ll cover most UK postcodes and selected cars up to 20 years old, below group 32 insurance and with a £30,000 maximum value (excluding commercial vehicles). We’re unable to cover drivers with previous claims or convictions.
Named Young Driver Insurance: Named Young Driver Insurance provides annual cover for provisional and full licence holders aged 17 - 27 to share a parent’s or grandparent’s car. We’ll cover most UK postcodes and selected cars up to 20 years old, below group 32 insurance and with a £30,000 maximum value (excluding commercial vehicles). We’re unable to cover drivers with previous claims or convictions.
Black Box Insurance: Black Box Insurance provides cover for provisional and full licence holders aged 17 - 30 to insure their own car. Drivers ages between 17-21 must add a parent or guardian as a named driver. Cover is available in the majority of UK postcodes, except Northern Ireland.
The prize draw closes at 10am on 31st December 2021. Entries received after this time will not be put forward for the draw.
This prize draw is open to all UK residents, except employees of Provisional Marmalade Ltd and Young Marmalade Ltd and their affiliated companies, their families and agencies.
The judges' decision is final.
The winner will be randomly selected by the promoter from entries received once the prize draw closes.
Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.
By entering, all entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any associated entry requirements. Any breach of these terms and conditions by an entrant will void their entry. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry.
The winner will be contacted by Marmalade before the 6th of January 2022. If the prize remains unclaimed after the 20th of January 2022, or the winner does not meet the policy eligibility criteria, Marmalade will conduct a second chance draw on 21st January 2022.
The winner must ensure that they contact the promotors within 7 days of receiving the initial prize notification. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available for the insurance. If the policy value is less than £250, the winner will not receive the difference, either in cash or as credit towards another policy.
Incorrectly completed entries or the use of a false name or details will result in disqualification.
All entries must be made directly by the person entering the prize draw.
Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated software will not be accepted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, or corrupted, or due to computer, network or software failure which may restrict or delay or failure of entry.
Marmalade reserves the right to verify the validity of entrants, and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the process or does not act in accordance with the Conditions of Entry as outlined above.
By entering, the winner agrees for Marmalade to use their names and general location for publicity purposes, and to have their photograph taken on collection of the prize.
The winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
Marmalade reserves the right to withdraw, modify or supersede the prize draw (including altering prizes) at any time without notice. This does not affect your statutory rights.
