The event is a 2 day extravaganza which puts on a spectacular display of – yep you guessed it! SUPERCARS! Not only do you get to witness the beauty of these remarkable hunks of metal and plastic, but for £30 you can even be chauffeured round one on the actual TOP GEAR TRACK! The first ever event was organised in 2007 in aid of children with brain damage, since then it’s continued to expand. 2016 marks the 10th anniversary, so we would highly recommend getting yourself down there to celebrate and be part of the fun!

F1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX – 8th-10th July – Silverstone
The infamous F1 British Grand Prix kicks off at Silverstone this year with another weekend of rubber burning carnage. Anyone who’s anyone knows that Silverstone is the place to be if you want to experience the true definition of motorsport. Last year saw them hit a record of 350,000 visitors from far and wide. Not only can you expect to see extravagant displays from the usual F1 classes, awesome performances from renowned artists (last year we saw appearances from Deacon Blue, Madness, Aleisha Dixon and more) you can glide round the festival on a Segway, pump some adrenaline in the F1 Go-Karts, go zorbing with your mates or if you’re more of a spectator, simply just relax and enjoy the festival for what it is.

GOODWOOD REVIVAL FESTIVAL – 9th-11th September
If you aren’t familiar with Goodwood road & racing, you will be after you attend this event! The Top Gear crew usually make an appearance here each year and the festival brings a heap of fun each and every time! The 2016 Goodwood Revival will honour the late Sir Jack Brabham, 50 years after he became the only driver in F1 history to claim the World Championship in a car bearing his own name. Expect to see plenty of action with classic cars, motorcycles, live music, a great selection of food stalls and plenty of fun and activities for the kids as well! Oh – and the dress code is 1948-1966 too! So dig out your petticoats and braces!
