Are you ready to see the return of the nation’s favourite 3 middle aged men, travelling around the world celebrating cars, travel, and ultimately causing mischief? If the answer is yes then great, because Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will be driving back onto our screens today with the launch of the third season of The Grand Tour.

Where will the third season take place?

Jezza and the gang have been filming in Mongolia, Hong Kong and Columbia for this latest season, with the first special of the season being Columbia Special part 1, which is set to go live on the 25th of Jan. Producer Andy Wilman has also disclosed that the trio has been filming in the USA, Azerbaijan and Georgia!

What cars will feature this season?

As always, we’re expecting some pretty special motors from the Grand Tour Team and whilst most of what will feature has been kept under wraps, the presenters have dropped a few teasers that they’ll be driving several classic cars. May has been driving an Alpine A110, whilst Clarkson revealed in his Sunday Times column that he would be testing the Bentley Continental FT.

Other cars to make an appearance in season 3 are an Aston Martin Vantage, a Lancia, a Dodge Challenge SRT, a Ford Mustang and many more. Talk about car goals, right? Of course to contrast this, the 3 presenters have also been seen on a trip to Wales in pickup trucks – not quite as glamorous!

The Grand Tour – The Game!

In lead up to the new season, Amazon announced that Clarkson, Hammond and May are bringing The Grand Tour to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in The Grand Tour Game. Now I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty excited to get my hands on this. It’s set to feature cars from the new series as well as iconic locations, including The Grand Tours signature Eboladrome test track!

Will they make it out alive?

Anyone who has seen the first 2 seasons of The Grand Tour will know that they rarely come out the end of the season unscathed. We’ve seen broken limbs, pneumonia and of course, Hammonds talent for crashing more than one vehicle. However, James May insists that they’re all getting out of season 3 in one piece – phew!

Where can I watch it?

You can watch the latest episode of season 3, as well as the first 2 seasons on Amazon Prime Video now. A new episode of the series will be launched each week.
