Marmalade, the providers of cars and insurance for young people, has signed up to Barclays Drive for Good campaign to raise money for Anna’s Hope – the leading children’s brain tumour charity in the East of England.
For each car sold through Marmalade’s Fuel&Go scheme during October and November £30 will be donated and Marmalade is hoping to give thousands of pounds to the charity at a cheque presentation in early December.
Launched earlier this year, Fuel&Go offers drivers as young as 17 a brand new car with 12 months’ free insurance. With its telematics-based insurance and offering a wide range of cars including Fiat, Ford, Vauxhall, Kia and Peugeot, Marmalade is helping thousands of young people to get on the road safely across the UK.
Anna’s Hope was set up in 2006 in memory of Anna Olivia Hughes, who died from a brain tumour at the age of three. The money raised will help the charity to make a difference to the lives of children and young people who have a brain tumour, by providing support and rehabilitation during and after treatment.
Crispin Moger, CEO of Marmalade, said: “We are really proud to be supporting Anna’s Hope, a charity that does fantastic work for children across our region. My daughter went to nursery with Anna so this charity has a special place in my heart. We’re looking forward to continuing our growth in sales and help the team at Anna’s Hope provide support to many more children and their families during such a traumatic time.”
