Seat Mii

The newest and smallest addition for SEAT is the stylish Mii. Don’t be fooled into thinking that the baby of the family will be the weak link, there’s plenty of bang here for your buck. Being part of the VW group, the architecture is similar to siblings the Volkswagen Up! and the Skoda Citigo. The Mii benefits from the practical, reliable qualities of the other cars with a bit of Spanish style flung into the mix. The result is an extraordinary city car that shouldn’t be overlooked.

If you’re looking for a neat car with style and substance then the SEAT Mii could be the one for you. Best of all, you can grab yourself a new SEAT Mii with a low deposit and free insurance, discounted insurance or cashback.

Reasons to love the Seat Mii

A nifty good looking car

The basic shape of the SEAT Mii is the same as a VW Up! It might seem tiny at just 3.5 metres long but there’s still enough space to comfortably seat four adults. There’s a range of bright colours to choose from so you can jazz it up too.

The nimble and quick steering along with the slick gearbox make the Mii an easy and fun drive. The entry level 1.0 litre engine has a three cylinder unit which gives it a decent amount of power. There’s good visibility too so city driving is far from a chore, and parking in tight spaces will be a breeze. It’s an unusually quiet and refined drive too, making it comfortable and solid out on the motorway too.

Running costs

Fuel economy and CO2 emissions are all pretty efficient especially if you opt for the Mii Ecomotive which is boosted through a stop / start system and weight-saving wheels.

In terms of insurance you can’t get cheaper. The entry level Mii falls into group one and even the top of the range Mango version falls into group four so you’ll be feeling smug whichever model you choose. It’s no wonder the Mii is an attractive car first car for young drivers.

Surprisingly practical

You may not think it, but the Mii hatchback makes good use of space. There’s plenty of room for four - although your mates may find it a bit tight in the back on longer trips. There’s loads of neat storage places such as the expansive storage bins in the doors. At 251 litres, the boot is a decent size and the double layered floor means you can easily squirrel away your bags from a day out at the shops.

Playing it safe

The Mii was awarded five stars from Euro NCAP crash tests with a decent 89% adult occupant protection. There’s six airbags as standard plus ABS and electronic stability control so you know that you’re in safe hands in this city car.

Frequently asked questions

What is a guarantor?

A guarantor is someone who formally guarantees to pay the finance if the young driver is unable to make the repayments. Before agreeing to become a guarantor for young driver, it is important you check that you would be able to afford the repayments (if they fail to pay the finance instalments), as non-payment pay could affect both yours, and their, credit score and result in repossession of the car.

How does the insurance work?

We offer you a personalised quote based on your age and postcode and the majority of our customers really do get free insurance. We know it's a big outlay buying and insuring your first car. We developed this offer to help ease the pain during what's probably going to be your most expensive year of car insurance – whilst you build up that first year's all important no claims bonus. Our insurance is underwritten by Highway Insurance (part of the Liverpool Victoria Group)

How long until I get my new car?

Good question. It depends on the car you're after and how far you want to go customising it! If you want your car delivered ASAP give us a call on < href="tel:0333 358 3441">0333 358 3441 to find out what's available now. If you've got your heart set on a certain colour or upgrade the car may have to be made to order. Whatever your circumstances, our friendly team can talk you through timescales for the different options – and we'll keep you posted on progress until it's delivered.

What is the benefit of adding a guarantor to my finance application?

If you're aged under 21, you're unlikely to have built up much credit history, so approval will be based on your personal circumstances. Having a guarantor increases your chance of being approved - thus allowing you to start building up your credit score.

What happens after the first year?

We'll send you a renewal price, but you don't have to take it and if you can find a more suitable policy somewhere else you can move your insurance (we'll miss you though!)
