With our continued growth we are looking to further develop and optimise our customer communication, retention and loyalty programmes, to increase sales, and ultimately the length of time our young drivers stay as customers.

That's why we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior CRM Executive to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity shape and develop Marmalade's campaign management and planning to improve conversion of prospective customers and increase retention of customers. These campaigns would be predominantly email to begin with, but we see the potential to extend this to SMS and Direct Marketing.

The role

You will work closely with the Brand Manager and Digital team to plan, develop and deliver an engaging and effective CRM programme. Responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing current activity and developing segmented marketing campaigns and triggered emails for customer recruitment, retention and referral.
  • Understanding the customer lifecycle and customer behaviour, though insight and MI, to inform improvement and development of campaigns.
  • Management of customer communications ensuring they are up to date and reflective of any changes to products or for any key seasonal events or campaigns.
  • Production of email campaign briefs, including copy and creative requirements.
  • Reviewing and updating our current transactional email templates and programmes on a phased basis to optimise performance and ensure appropriate consistency with marketing emails.
  • Day to day management of the email marketing platform (currently dotmailer).
  • Ownership of regular reporting and analysis to share with stakeholders and help shape and determine adaptation of campaigns to optimise performance.
  • Working with external partners to implement, monitor and review external email campaigns via third parties.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience planning and implementing email campaigns, using an email marketing platform or CRM.
  • Data driven and analytical approach.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
  • Good understanding the customer lifecycle.
  • Experience of dealing and managing day to day relationships with external agencies.
  • A good knowledge of the Data Protection Act, GDPR and other data processing legislation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied workload.
