Marmalade launches lucrative new referral scheme for driving instructors

Marmalade, the specialist provider of insurance and cars for young people, has launched a referral scheme for driving instructors that enables them to boost their earnings by thousands of pounds.

Open to any ADI approved instructor, Marmalade's scheme will pay driving instructors £250 if their pupil buys a new car through Marmalade's fuel&go scheme, £50 or 7.5% of the premium for every New Driver insurance policy and £25 for every new Learner Driver policy sold.

Bridgit Hollister, a driving instructor from Wiltshire, has already seen huge benefits having trialled the scheme for 12 months. She said: “As a driving instructor, I often get asked for advice on insurance and as a business built on reputation and word of mouth, it is vital that any recommendations I make deliver good quality and value. Marmalade specialises in insurance products for young drivers and has a fantastic range of products that help to keep drivers safe on the roads at an affordable price. I highly recommend Marmalade and do to all my customers, which in turn has been fantastic for business.

Crispin Moger, CEO at Marmalade, says: We really value driving instructors support in helping spread the word of our services and products to their pupils. Our referral scheme is a way of us saying thank you for the support and we hope to reach out to more instructors to get them signed up and earning some additional cash.

Marmalade's fuel&go is a combined car purchase and insurance scheme that enables drivers as young as 17 to purchase a new car with 12 months' free New Driver Insurance from £175 per month.

Marmalade's New Driver insurance uses advanced black box technology to help young drivers develop safe driving skills that make them a lower risk. This in turn enables Marmalade to keep the cost of insurance premiums low. Its popular learner insurance allows a learner driver to practise in a family or friend's car without risking the No Claims Bonus of the owner at a very competitive rate.
