So the other week you might have seen my blog post on preparing to conquer my fears of the motorway as I had never driven on the motorway before. Since then I was very kindly set up by Marmalade to have a motorway driving lesson with Lew Whittaker from Around the Bend Driving School and got to go out on the motorway for the first time in my life, as you will see from the video linked in this blog post!

As the summer is finally upon us, I thought that I should take the time to talk about one of the most under-talked about topics regarding driving – the social aspect! As you’ll know if you follow my social media accounts and YouTube channel, my social life and my friends are some of the most important aspects of my life. I passed my practical driving test last May and finished my last A-Level exams mid-June, so I had the whole summer ahead to enjoy driving around and having fun with my friends; it was great!

Hi, I'm Jim and as some of you may know, I run a YouTube channel called jimmericks! – YouTube Channel If you have been watching my videos on YouTube for a while, you will know that around May-time last year I passed my practical driving test - one of the most useful and rewarding achievements I have ever completed. I cannot stress enough how important I feel it is for young people like myself to pass their driving test, not only to give you more independence, but to enhance essential skills that you need in your everyday life, such as being more aware of the world around you.
