Software Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer you will be working for a company that values its employees and offers a friendly and supportive working environment. Your role will include manually testing our web application in addition to the setup of and testing with software testing tools. You enjoy the challenge of writing test scenarios which include smoke, regression and functionality tests. You are also keen to develop automated tests for web forms using Selenium and API's using tools such as Selenium and Postman. You continually look at tools and methods to improve testing workflows and have a passion for end user thinking to help us improve our customer journey.

• 3 years+ experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
• Setup, configuration and writing test scripts with Selenium
• Experience using and writing tests in Postman and SOAPUI
• Automated testing of web apps, including related backend services and databases
• Passion for continuous improvement
• Understanding of Unix/Linux systems

• Experience working with XML, JSON and CSV formats
• Working in a scrum team
• Working in the insurance industry
• Experience using Trello and Microsoft Teams

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm. Working at our Peterborough office is at the manager’s discretion but working from home for most of the time is acceptable if preferred.
